Authority letter for accompanying family members

Hello ,

I have a enquery regarding exempt travel authorization letter.



I have a work offer in Québec. i am planning travel to Canada in July with work permit Visa and Family accompanying me.



I applied for myself I work permit.

I applied for my wife visit visa.

I applied for my daughter 6 years study visa .

I applied for my daughter 4 years visit Visa.

I applied for my son 2 years visit visa .



All applications were approved and I submitted the passport to embassy for visa stamp but still I didn’t receive the passport.



My questions are do we need a travel authorization letter ?

can I apply for it now before I receive the passport?

Yes we all applied together and approved at same time.

My work permit will be one year starting from this July

As your case belong to immediate family members, so it does not require TA letter. However, since the covid there are many changes. For safety, you should ask for TA letter. This letter will be helpful when you check-in before boarding as airline officer may not update policy from IRCC. They normally ask for TA...
