Hi everyone. I have applied for visitor visa on 8th august from gc key portal.
I just want to know should I apply from new portal?
in gc key portal its been 10days and my biometrics or anything have not been updated. this is my second application - first was student visa in 2019 and now im applying for visitor visa. there has not been any update. Should i apply from new portal? will i received my 100CAD that i paid from gc key or should leave application as it is and wait?

Waiting can be inarguably extremely frustrating, by all means, you can re-apply through the new portal as no one actually knows how the system works. But I doubt that you'll be getting a refund on the application fees of CAD 100 though. I applied on Aug 5 through GCKey and there's no update so far either, been waiting ever since.
