Hey!

i am new to this forum. I applied for an outland application for my spouse on August 13 2022. Got the AOR and I was approved for SA in november 2022. Got the CSQ in January 2023. My spouse biometric was completed through a TRV application. Criminality passed but background check still in process (security not started, eligibility not started n medical not started). I ordered the GCMS notes and primary office shows mexico, secondary office shows osc-support centre and application is showing TRF-workload distribution. I have no idea what’s taken so long or what I should do??

Its the Quebec Quotas that are delaying applications, even in Mexico VO people going to ON,AB are getting PPR within 10 month’s meanwhile Quebec applicants are stuck. Best you can do in my opinion is move to another province, change the address and notify your VO.

Looking at the tracking sheets and forum posts, I wouldn't blame everything on QC quotas.... Plenty of other applicants are in the same state despite of being out of Quebec.

Looking at the stats, it's clear that IRCC doesn't work in first-come-first-serve basis. While Quebec is certainly a factor, it's not something that "explains it all"

I am a principal Applicant from Jamaica and primary VO is Kingston. My application status says the same TFR- Workload distribution and I don't know what it means. While my friends that requested and has the same primary and secondary VO says in progress. So confused!!

I wish I knew exactly what trf-workload redistribution means…spoke to an agent that says the file has to be handled by a different office cause they have reach capacity….idk

Trf = transfer. Literally means transfer for distribution of workload .
