I've just found out that Canada Post doesn't track inbound registered mail since 2015 (back when I was living in Canada, they used to). So I'm looking for some feedback from people who've sent their applications via registered post about how many days after mailing their app did they receive the CIC text notification and/or their AORs. Thanks.

thanks. as mentioned it wasnt sent by courier. it was sent by Irelands own Postal Company by registered signature mail. there is a tracking number but it cant be tracked outside of Ireland. I will give it until Monday and then call the post company and IRCC.
its crazy how anxious this process gets me!

Hi betterthanyoko, in the same boat! Looks like you seem to have received the SMS notification, right? If so, I should be looking at about a month from when I mailed the application. Also, if you don't mind, can you share what was the last tracking update you had on your postal tracking website and when? Thanks!

May I ask you. Do you send these in hard copies ?

Sch A uploaded via Webform with email confirmation they have received and will forward to appropriate person. Medical report will send/upload by clinic. PCC will send by local police authority to IRCC directly.

hi there,
yes we received our text from the CIC about a month after sending in the package. we were only able to track the package via AnPost (Irelands Postal service) so it was only tracked until it left Ireland which was the day after we posted it. after that there was never an update and i checked it everyday.. I even escalated the issue with An POst and they have sent in multiple requests with Canada Post for updates but we never heard back. Its unfortunate that CP no longer works with outside carriers to track packages.
my advice is just be patient. its out of your hands now.
