Attestation from foreign Office in Pakistan

Hi All,

I just heard a new thing where Pakistan Embassy in UK has asked me to get all my docs (Marriage Cert, PCC, Birth Certs and Educational Docs.) attested from Forign Office in Pakistan and than embassy in UK will attest it and than i can send docs. to CIC.
Is that something that anyone from here had to go through?
I have all my docs. here with me in London ready, now if that's right than i'll have to send all docs. back to Pakistan and after attestions from Foreign Office Pakistan, they'll send all the docs. back to UK than i'll be going to local emabssy. Doesn't this sound silly?

you just need to have your documents notarized and send to CHC London. this is what my understanding is. are you trying to attest your documents from Pakistan Embassy in UK?

Ya that's what i thought, but it's not even copies that i was talking about, they were talking about originals.

if they are copies, notarize them from notary public. if they are originals, send them as is. no need to attest any document from Pakistan Embassy.
