Attending a different university after receiving student visa/ study permit

I applied for a student visa (study permit) on June 2nd for a programme in Carleton beginning in September 06th. My visa wasn't available until September 28th as a result I missed my intake. Luckily I also had an offer at Laurentian university for January 2017 intake which I plan to take. I am travelling to Canada on November 30th and I wanted to ask would I be able to get through the immigration based on the fact I didn't attend the institution I originally stated I will attend on visa application but instead a different institution?

In a more of a friendly note, Carleton is way way better than Laurentian. Regarding your visa, Change your DLI once you've confirmed your admission and you're good to go

I would have loved to join Carleton, unfortunately my visa took too long and they don't have Jan intakes. I can't afford to waste time.

Hussain bhai I completed a year in March 2015 when express ntry was introduced. I am hoping to get an invitation under the human capital stream of Ontario immigrant nominee program. Before that every province other than maybe Saskatchewan required LMO to be filled which is an older version of LMIA.

Why didn't you applied for PNP and later PR? Its an easy way to get citizen? As you were among International Student graduates.

Because I couldn't god damn it! I worked at a bank in the Yukon, do you even know what PNP stands for, provincial nominee program, for that the employer has to fill some got paper work stating there wasn't any Canadian available for this job. Neither was it true nor was did my employer want to waste time time on that! That process was known as LMO standing for labour market opinion which now has changed into LMIA Labour Market Impact Assessment! Read my previous comment!

Man you have to do damn too much work regarding that.
LMIA is different thing.
First, there isnt only one streams for PNP. PNP rules varies from province to province. LMIA you are talking about is one of those stream.
LMIA is god damn long process and 90% employers avoid doing that (thats not personal exp its just what I've heard from people there). Second, you had to apply through International Student Working Graduate. Lets just talk about Manitoba, to be eligible to apply for MPNP you should have worked six months(if you are graduate from Manitoba) after graduating. LMIA is way too different stream than this..

I didn't study or work in Manitoba or Saskatchewan, in the hindsight I regret that. I might get provincial nomination from Ontario who knows after completing masters.
