Hi Leon and Scylla :

In my Copr : last entry date And Orig entry date written same date but it is completely wrong

Last entry date would be 2014
Orig entry date would be 2013.

I went to holiday 2014 and CIC assume and when i return 2014 CIC is thinking this is my orig entry date in Canada but it is wrong.

My wish is 3 years citizenship rule will be back and that time i would get counted one year credit ( because since 2013 to 2015 i was work permit )

So in the above scenario what would be best thing for me to do .

Your valuable reply would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

I expect others as well as me are confused with what you have written but when exactly, month/ year did you become PR. Especially confused about the 2013-2015 work statement note.

My COPR org entry date is wrong

My question do I need to correct it or not

Can it effect my citizenship application or not

putting aside the COPr issue when did you actually land and become PR 2013 or 2014 given you imply you were only on a work permit until 2015 so are you trying to say you only became PR in 2015 ?

So if the new rules come in speculating not until 2017 if passed you want credit from 2013-2015 when you were only on a work permit and not PR ?

Therefore your question is do you need to get the COPR dates corrected without any mention of what the new rules may or may not be in the future given the new rules are not near being law yet.

Arrived in Canada 2013 November work permit
Went to back home for holiday 2014 November
Return Canada 2014 December

Applied Pr 2014 September
PR approved 2015 November

My Copr says : Original entry date in Canada is 2014 December but is it wrong

my concern if the old citizenship rule back then I would get one year credit from ( 2013 Nov - 2015 Dec )

As i have wrong date in COPR what should i do now,
