Atlantic Immigration Program need a close work permit? My friend is a PGWP holder and expired last Sept. 18 2022, then she applied on the public policy for PGWP extension for 18months and now she is still waiting for the result. Her employer endorse her and apply her for AIP, and luckily she is nominated and get the endorsement certificate from the province of NB and a support letter for work permit. Does she need to apply for work permit before she can apply for PR? or she needs to wait the result of her first application pgwp extension under public policy? Please advise. Appreciate your comments. Thank you

I don't have any idea how long employer get designated. If they already designated before and they just complied with the redesignation process soon they will get their designation. Yes, she applied PR already waiting for any updates on her application.

Yes, first job since she was a student. Her Part time job before, then full time when she graduated. She just applied by herself, she only follow the document checklist on the IRCC website.
