Hello,

Athabasca University offers courses via distance learning and CIC does not consider Athabasca University eligible to issue a Letter of Acceptance for the purpose of obtaining a study permit

However, this university is on the list of participating institutes eligible for both OCWP and PGWP.

Does that mean if a student completes a Master degree / Post Baccalaureate Certificate program from this university, he can apply for PGWP??

If the Master degree / Post Baccalaureate Certificate is completed via distance learning then no - a person will not qualify for a PGWP. Distance learning programs are not eligible for PGWPs.
