does he have admission yet? since he is going to apply for MBA does he plan on giving GMAT.

For applying MBA, two factors are compulsory in most of Universities.

• Having experience before starting MBA
• Having GMAT

There are Universities where do not require any of the mentioned factors, however, chances of getting visa permit with those Universities are indeed lower.
As a consequence, if you provide a GMAT with a good score , and a completed required documents, you will have chances to get your study permit.
