Hi guys, came here as international student currently on a PGWP.i am currently working with Rogers as assistant manager store...i have my job offer but i am still confused do i need to go through LMIA process for my job in order to get 600 points..

That means you can work under PGWP without LMO/LMIA. Point system in EE is a whole different system.

Try and get an LMIA sorted for your job or obtain Provincial Nomination, nothing much else you can do to boost your points apart from gaining more work experience I'd assume?

And not only students, ICT, IEC, pretty much everyone going for CEC (apart from TFWP who become eligible in CEC) are not having a good time.
They want us to get LMIA but no employer is interested in it...its idiotic...

try and go for PNP. Depend on your province, you might not need experiences at all (you need permanent term job in skilled NOC tho).
