Is it okay to arrive in Canada 3 days after the start of classes? Will it be a problem at the immigration? For example, could the immigration officer ask why I am arriving 3 days after the start of classes, whereas I got my visa in the 2nd week of August itself?
As per my existing ticket booking, I will land in Canada on Sep 10 only. I would like to retain the existing booking (I purchased it at a very discounted rate by purchasing in advance) if there will be no problems at the immigration.
My college starts on Sep 6 and as per the college Sep 12th is the last date by which I must report to the college (after that date, the college automatically withdraws me from the program, I guess).
they may ask anything..!! cant say. you can probably tell them you couldn't find an earlier flight with proper layovers. most of them needed transit visa..something like that...if possible try to go early..!! Also confirm with ur college about ur arrival date, so that they dont cause a problem later.
