hi to the masters of this forum,
just want to raise this query about Arranged Employment. I am currently under temporary work permit with HRSDC for semi-skilled position but if my employer would want to support me and give the permanent job offer for a skilled position, my question is:
Does the employer need to apply for new LMO?
I understand that there is no need to apply for a new LMO if it is the same employer on the work permit and the one offering the permanent job, however, given that the existing work permit is for a semi-skilled job, does the employer have to apply for LMO in a skilled position or only after the result of the application?
