Arranged Employment for FSW- Compulsory or NOT???

I have got mixed reviews for arranged employment for applying Canada PR.

One forum says that, "if your total score is 67, then it qualifies you for FSW. Arranged Employment has weightage (10 Marks I think). its not a mandatory condition as such to have"

Please pour in your ideas if you have some ideas. It will benefit everyone.

Why not just check CIC? it's clearly stated that right now you must have AEO or LMO in order to apply for FSW, unless you are enrolled in a PhD program.
After May 2013 it could be different, but no detailed information has been released by CIC yet.

And this is where I got confused. Contrary to what the CIC site say as mandatory, many of immigrant agencies are not thinking it as mandatory.

Though I tried calling CIC but no luck.

CIC sets the rule and makes the decision, not the agencies

In the past it was not required, but now it is, after May 2013 it may not be required but there's no official announcement yet

Once Again, just to make myself clear--


We are not sure After May 2013, if we will need AEO for FSW PR, is my understanding correct?
