are these funds enough? (Applying from India)

I am applying for visa next month.. pls let me know if these funds are enough..

1. Loan sanction letter covering 85%(tuition+accommodation)
2. Cash covering 15%(tuition+accommodation)
3. Bank balance showing funds of 5.5L (1000 CAD) for 1 year

It depends with the course that you are opting for.

Is it one year or two years course, For example if your tuition fee is 15000 CAD $, then you will have to show this amount along with 10,000 CAD $ for Accommodation. To be on safer side

I am applying for a 1 yr course based MEng Chemical and Biochemical Engg program at University of Western Ontario and the tuition is 25000 CAD.. then i have to show 35000 CAD to be on the safer side, is it?

Does a return ticket cost only $1000?

You have to show that your tuition is covered as well as that you have $10 000 per year for living expenses + funds for return ticket.
