Are the GCMS notes necessary after documents submitted for PR?

Hi,

I have waited almost five months after I submitted all the documents for PR. I only got my medicals approved a couple of weeks after submission. Nothing got updated (like status of BG check) etc. What should I do? Apply for GCMS notes to better track my applications or patiently wait since the average wait time is around 6 months?

What are the negative consequences of not getting my GCMS notes? Will it increase my wait time?
