CIC says on travel page -

Who is an immediate family member
An immediate family member is defined
as a
spouse or common-law partner
dependent child (yours, your
spouse's or your common-law
partner's)
dependent child of a dependent child
parent or step-parent (yours, your
spouse's or your common-law
partner's)
quardian or tutor

Why they do NOT mention siblings as immediate family?

My brother from New Zealand wants to visit me in Canada after 6 years, do you think his request for exemption will get approved?

Exemptions haven't been required for months now. You are looking at outdated information.

He can travel as long as he's fully vaccinated. He will need to familiarize himself with the testing requirements and other arrival requirements.

Thank you! What a relief.

Just make sure he understands what's involved in returning to NZ. As far as I know, getting a managed quarantine spot is still a hot mess.

Doesn’t this person require written authorization from IRCC?

My sister-in-law (Australian citizen) is planning to visit us in February. She applied for the eTA which was approved instantaneously. Can she travel without the authorization letter? As per cic website, the airline will check for IMM006 form, travel authorization email etc. Please share the link with the latest information. Thanks
