I think they are checking the status only in the new tracker (In Progress), not ECAS (In Process), some online applicants don't have access to old ECAS, will see if they have access there.

I've received my AOR this afternoon.
Please update the spreadsheet.

I've tried to create an account in the new portal to check the status and received the following error.
I'll wait for a couple days and try ECAS as well.

Correct the following errors:

• Incorrect UCI or application number. Please try again.

I was able to create an account in the new portal.
Language Skills: In Process
Background Verification: In Process
Physical Presence: In Process
Prohibitions: In Process
Citizenship test: Not started
Citizenship ceremony: Not started

ECAS never worked for me (even during PR process) and I receive the usual message.
I will try calling IRCC tomorrow.

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided.

Ohhh okay! I’ve been checking ECAS (paper applicant) with no updates, but was surprised online applicants were getting in progress so quickly. That makes more sense.
