My application online status also says "In Progress". Probably you can update the "In process ecas" if you get a chance @Strongfaith42

As I understood from observations and suggestions made by other members (@rajkamalmohanram), the "In Progress" status in the new dashboard is not the same as the "In Process" in the ECAS. And I see a lot of "AOR to IP" of 1 day in the spreadsheet which I think are the same case. New dashboard seems to always show "In Progress" for BG, Prohibition, Language and Physical Presence right after the AOR.

I believe if ECAS still shows "Application Received" and the new dashboard shows "In Progress" for all the four categories mentioned above, then it's safe to assume that there hasn't been any updates since the AOR.

I'm sorry I hate to ruin the excitement but I just thought I should share what I've seen about the majority of the cases so far.

What @Iman.G said is correct, the In Progress in the new Dashboard is different than the In Process in ECAS, while the new dashboard shows in Progress the old ECAS shows "Application received". It appears that after they sent AOR, this is based in my GCMS notes, after almost a month the Security and Criminality were initiated by the Sydney office, after they got the clearance on those, they transferred my file to my local office, almost two months after AOR and that is when my background check showed as completed in the new dashboard and old ECAS changed to In Process. I can't change the fields/columns in the tracker, I am not the admin.

I received the AOR last Friday (23-July-2021) and when I try to register at (New Dashboard) https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register with UCI and Application#, I keep getting an error 'Invalid UCI or Application#'. Is anyone else facing challenges while creating an account?

Wait for a day and try again.
You will be able to register it successfully.

thats why i switched to paper application atleast i will have a normal timeline lol

totally agree, they should put a disclaimer "Please note that applying online will delay your applications if you're fine with that" lol
