Appointment for Biometrics

I have an appointment to do my biometrics next week at the VAC office. In my appointment confirmation letter my name is spell incorrectely because I spelled it incorrectely while making the appointment. The say they cant change the name now.

Will I lose my appointment? Has anyone had the same issue? Will I be able to give my biometrics?

Hi All,

I am here on work permit and had given my biometrics around 2 years ago for my work permit application.
Now I am in Canada.

I got my ITA in April for PR and need to submit all documents in 2 days. Till yesterday I was under impression that BIOMETRICS will not be needed in my case and old one can be used.

I just got to know that after 14th June 2023, rules are changed. IRCC asks all applicants to do BIOMETRICS who applies on/after 14th June 2023 even if they have valid biometrics from work permit etc.

Can someone have more info on this and can guide?

If I need to give biometrics then I can submit my PR application and then apply for biometric separately?
