Hi anybody arrange an appointment to CIC local office?? Is it really 6 to 8 weeks time or it can be earlier?? Thanks :) just got my COPR figuring out how to do the next time :) thanks everyone
 
I mean next step lol
 
Why don't you flagpole at the nearest land border (that has immigration services)?
 
The nearest is 9 hour drive :(

No one on here can tell you, as it all depends on where you are, how busy your local office is etc. You need to actually contact CIC to find out how long it will take.
 
I did land at local CIC office.

I called CIC (1-800-xx) at the end of June and booked a date on mid of Aug.
so I waited for about 6 weeks ( in WPG)

I was not rush to land so we did not go to boarder( plus, it is long drive too from where i live)

the process was simple, the officer asked me two questions on COPR and I answered and signed in front of her and she stamped on my passport.
brought photos for PR card (she said it will arrive in NOV.)

Whole process took less than 10 mins.
