Hello,

I'm enquiring on behalf of a friend of mine who's looking to apply for pr

Is it possible to apply under two different NOC codes?

For example, 6 months of experience under one code and the other 6 months of experience under another code to total the 1 years full time experience that is required?

Any insight would be great

Thanks

It is possible if only:
- you have at least 12 months of continuous full time work or equivalent under each NOC code
- you can send two separate packages indicating different Primary NOC Codes along with IELTS and ICAS reports

6 months is not enough.

That is not true.
See following on OP25A:
have acquired, in Canada, within the 36 months before the date on which their application is received, at least 12 months of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work experience, in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) matrix, exclusive of restricted occupations

6 Month + 6 Month experience will count you one year. Provided that both NOC codes must be eligible for CEC.

@Roman

I see that you had applied in FWSP. The rules you have state is applicable to that program. It is different for Canadian Experience Class.

That's great thank you!!

Where can I find OP25A, is this a document on the CIC website?

UPDATE:

Found it online, thanks again for your help

+1

Really sorry, guys. Hit the wrong topic by mistake and haven't expected anything else but FSWP.
