Applying under QSW with more than a year old CSQ (valid for 3 years in total)

Hi All,

I got my CSQ back in April 2011 (more than a year ago). My CSQ is valid for three years (till April 2014). I am now preparing my application for QSW to be submitted to CIC Sydney Nova Scotia. My question is that can I apply under QSW even if my CSQ is older than a year (but still valid till April 2014). I heard that one have to apply right away.

Please guide me.
