Applying TRV while waiting work permit on the way

Hi, my work permit extension was approved but I didn't get it yet. Is it possible to apply TRV with WP-Extension approval PDF sent by IRCC.

While applying for the TRV, you have to upload a valid status document. If you are in Canada, then it should take six to seven days at max to receive the WP. It is worth waiting if you can.
If you want to travel for an emergency, then you have to provide an explanation letter and attach it with the WP-Extension pdf.
