i have got accepted in on of the universities for the next winter session . i have decided to go to Turkey to apply for the study permit since it takes 1-2 weeks to obtain it ( in my country it is 10 weeks ) .
so can i apply for the study permit while am on a visitor visa on Turkey ? the visa duration is 6 month in Turkey
If the following criteria are met, as a general rule, you are allowed by immigration law to apply for temporary status from a country you are residing :
1. you are lawfully admitted in the country (yes, Turkey in this case with a valid visa)
2. be present for the duration of application
3. The visa office processes study permit you seek (yes, Ankara processes study permit application)
