Good day,

I have a question. Maybe someone knows the answer. :)
I am applying for Permanent residency in Canada through Ontario Provincial Nominee Program - Masters Graduate stream.
I am in a common-law relationships with a Canadian citizen. Do I need to include his information in the application as well? Does he need to fill out any forms? I am very confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you will need to mention it, but i dont think you have to fill-in any forms for her.

Good luck

I applied for PR through the Manitoba PNP. My wife is a Canadian citizen, and I included her in all relevant forms that were sent to CIC - and she filled out all the relevant forms a spouse/common law partner is supposed to, such as where she has lived over the past 10 years. A copy of her passport was also included in the application.

It didn't mention anywhere in the guidance notes what to do if your spouse/common law partner is already a Canadian citizen, so we thought it best to err on the side of caution and include all her information where appropriate.

Best of luck!
