I just received Canadian college offer letter for the May 2021 term, so I want to file an application for study permit ASAP and I have a concern regarding proof of finance.
My boyfriend is a Canadian living in Canada. I made a Canadian bank account while I was there for tourism last year before COVID.
I wanted to know the likelihood of my application being accepted if:
My boyfriend pays for my first semester tuition fees.
My boyfriend transfers the remaining tuition fees + 10K living expense(1 year program) from his Canadian bank account to my Canadian bank account.
Further concerns:
Do I need to provide them with a 4 month bank statement of my Canadian bank account?
Would the Visa officer require justifications for the large deposit to my Canadian bank account?

I wanted to know the likelihood of my application being accepted if:
My boyfriend pays for my first semester tuition fees. - Your BF will need to prepare affidavit of support and your BF need to provide source of the financial support.
My boyfriend transfers the remaining tuition fees + 10K living expense(1 year program) from his Canadian bank account to my Canadian bank account.- Need the statement proof for 4-6 moths.
Further concerns:
Do I need to provide them with a 4 month bank statement of my Canadian bank account?- Yes
Would the Visa officer require justifications for the large deposit to my Canadian bank account?- If you manage to get Q1 as above done, this wouldn't be an issue. Incase you wish to open a local bank acc visit KLCC Cimb-open on weekends as well.
