I want to study in Canada, specifically Saskatchewan. What are the requirements and documents that i need to prepare in order to study High School in canada? My aunt and uncle is a permanent citizen on there. And how long will it take for me to study there? Do I have to take IELTS even I'm just a 14 years old? I saw an info here that you won't need study permit when you go to canada alone, is this true?Thank you!
You will need a study permit and be prepared to pay international fees. Also your aunt/ uncle will need to agree to formally be your custodians/guardians.

My daughter, born on 08.09.2005, is currently 18 years old and studying in grade 11 in Bangladesh. If she wishes to enroll in grade 11 at a Canadian public school in Edmonton, Alberta. Does her age of 18+ classify her as a minor child? Additionally, could this 18+ age pose any issues in terms of admission or obtaining a study permit?

Will the school board even allow her to study at a public school in Grade 11 at 18? Check with that first. She may have to go to an adult learning centre, not a high school. Most students in Grade 11 are 16 years old and graduate high school at 18, so she is 2 years behind. Why does she want to study for just grade 11, if she is studying in Grade 11 now.
This could impact her study permit because coming for Grade 11 at age 18 makes no sense.

Do you have 10-15l per year for tuition plus living expenses which would be about another 15k. Many students who are behind in their studies go to a special school or night courses to finish their degree. You would also likely have to justify why it makes sense to send your child to study in Canada when they are already behind their peers. In general unless you have significant amount of savings then it makes more sense to come to Canada to study to do a masters degree or at least an advanced degree. It doesn’t typically make sense to come to Canada to attend public school. You could pay for a very good private education in Bangladesh for the same price. That is your best use of funds.
