I got my passport back with the visa stamped and the CPR form. I am an official PR now
This last step happened so quick. My passport reached NY on 2nd Feb, and I got it back by the 15th.
Not sure if anyone knows this, but wanted to know the procedure for people already in Canada. Do I need to leave the country and come back to 'officially' immigrate - with proofs of my education stats, bank balance etc. Or is it sufficient to just go to the airport or the border?
There are many posts in trackitt and this forum about the Landing procedures. I am not an expert. But you may like to search on 'landing' in trackitt and you will find many links
I sent my ppt last Thursday (Feb 11) and arrived on friday. I have a problem here I just realized my photos (35 x 39 mm) are a bit smaller than what they ask for (35 x 45 mm).
I am not sure if it will cause problems, and I called my lawyer and he told me just wait and should not be a problem.
What do you think?
Thank you

hi all,
I am going to forward my passport on 4.3.10 to NY. I have a doubt, do i have to have PR card while entering canada or just the VISA is enough.and if so can u confirm me the timeline , when i'll get my PR card after getting the Visa stamped.
Actually the PR is filed by my Wife, who has an education in canada and also has a job experience for 2 years. and still working.
I have received my Medicals Request today. Thank you all for your help.
I have a few questions on the Medicals/RPRF request. Please help
My understanding on the process is :
1. I will take an Appt at a DMP authorized by CIC. They will do the required forms update and they will send the documents to CHC.
2. I will take a receipt from the DMP office and send it to CHC (Along with RPRF)
3. For RPRF, I will take a banker's cheque in Canadian Dollars for $490 (Separate draft for me and my spouse). Pl confirm if this is correct.
I will send the RPRF draft and Medicals Receipt in an envelope to NY
Seniors, Please help me if my understanding is correct.
The only things I want to add is you need to take photos to DMP as the letter asked me to do so. I think DMP needs 3 photos.
You should also make an appointment as soon as possible with DMP.
Good luck

Do not remember about the photos size. seems the same as before. Only when they requested passport asking for 35x45 mm photos which is not easy to get in US. I believe it must show some where on your medicals request documentation. You should check carefully.
Yes, you should send RPRF with medicals receipts together.
Not sure if you can take a single bank draft or not. You shall PM to rk2009. He should know it I think.
