Applying for Visitor Visa while SOWP processing still in progress

I have applied for SOWP and it is taking so long. Is it possible to apply for Visitor Visa using the new portal while the SOWP still in progress?
Will that effect the SOWP processing?
How likely that I will get the approval for the visitor visa?
any thoughts will be appreciated

You can try. No effect on SOWP process. For a visitor visa, you need to show funds, travel history, ties to home country (job letter with allowed leave, property, investments, family - spouse/children) etc.

I'm also in the same situation, if you guys could please share that did you apply for the visitor visa while your SOWP was in progress? and what was the outcome?
