I am PR in Canada. I want to invite my family to Canada. My parents have visitor visa. My younger sibling (14 yr old) also had visitor visa. They have visited me once in 2017 for 6 weeks. But now my sister's passport has expired. We have renewed her passport but need to get a new visitor visa.
I want to apply for her visitor visa on my own. So I have a couple of questions regarding the application.
1. Can I create the file as if my sister is applying for herself? Can a 14 yr old apply or does she need a representative/family member to apply on her behalf?
2. What reason can I give in the invitation letter? My sister's bday is on May 20, she is turning 15. Can that be used as a reason to invite? I bought a house in 2020, they couldn't visit me then because of covid. Please suggest what can be a good reason.
3. What else do I need to include in the invitation letter?
4. Anything else I need to take care of.
