Applying for TRV within Canada but the online form shows for outside of Canada

Hi,

I am applying for my TRV after I got my PGWP within Canada. Now while I went through determining my eligibility online, it is giving me the link of a form that is for 'outside' of Canada. Is it normal? The number of the form is IMM5257E. Can anyone let me know please?

Where do you get that idea?

IMM5257 clearly is named: "Application for Visitor Visa"... no "outside" whatsoever is mentioned.

Yes the new system is showing IMM5257E as for persons outside of Canada, but it is the one you should use.
Therefore go ahead and fill it out, submit as you would and wait for CIC's reply.
