Applying for study permit from Ghana

Hi noble people of this forum, I will try to be brief.
I applied for a student permit online on 8th September 2018 and I was given biometric letter of instruction on 9th September 2019. I did the biometric on 11th September. Although my online biometric status have been updated but there is no change on my dashboard. As if my application processing (8 weeks for Ghanaians) has not been started. What should I do? and am I going to hear from IRCC if yes when.

Is biometric has been updated that is fine. You can never tell when the status will change so don't pay too much attention to it.

it is only the 12th of September. Be patient. Your status will change when they start looking at your application. That depends on factors outwith your control, like the amount of applications that they have got to look at.

It took 6 weeks for me to get mine (I am from the UK). So if it takes 6 weeks, that would be the 20th of October. You are still in September.

You just have to wait. The guide time on the Internet is only a guide. Stop panicking. Your application has only been in a week.
