Applying for student visa within Canada

I am now in Canada on a visitor visa. I was wondering if I can apply for a student visa/ study permit from Ottawa or I should do it in my country of origin?

depending on ur country u may have to go to apply from ur home country.....ru a spouse of a TRV holder or other legal status holder in canada? if ur then u can apply from within canada....
