I am planning to apply for the visa in next couple of weeks. I have an admit from York University for spring 2012. I would really appreciate if anyone could help me out with following questions?
1)The tuition fees is about $16000/yr. I will be showing a bank statement for about $40000 for 30days. Do you think 30 days is enough?
2)How long is CHC islamabad takes for student visa process? My semester start in early JAN and I wont be able to apply before end of OCT. Is that enough time?
3) I am also thinking about applying for UK student visa. I have heard canadian visa is harder to get compared with UK. Is that true?
4)I might end up applying for both canadian and UK visa. For that, I will need to get my passport back. Is it possible to requesr CHC to return the passport after submission of application?
sorry for such a long post. I would really appreciate any help on these questions.

4)For York, I applied for undergrad transfer. I already have a bachelors from Pakistan. However, its only a three year bachelors. The major I have chosen is also a specializatio within my current undergrad field. How will CHC view this? Would they have issues with the fact that I already have an undergrad degree and I might be wasting my time and money?
