Hello, Everyone

I received my study visa in the year 2016 for Two years, i went to canada and started studying in Humber College but after Three months i withdrew from my course and had to return Home (INDIA) because my mother was having serious health issues. I had no other choice but to come back home because neither do i have any siblings nor is my father alive. now after two years my mother has fully recovered i have decided to go back and complete my remaining education. My current Student Visa ends on 31st August 2018 (after 44 days). I have gained a new admission in Fanshawe College for January 2019. I have all the valid documents to prove my mother's illness and i have also been working to prove what i was doing in this two years (proof of Gap)

My question is :
(1) Should I apply for a fresh Student Visa ? what are the odds of visa acceptance ?
(2) Should I go back to canada now (in my current study visa) and apply for an extension
(only 44 days remaining on my current visa).

Please Guide me in my problem. A prompt reply will be helpful.
Thank you.

Others can comment but if you left your course after 3 months in 2016 it is possible your study permit was cancelled for non attendance. Colleges are supposed to report non attendance to CIC .

Sorry I forgot to mention I withdrew from my course.

So, Should i apply for a fresh visa or reach canada now and extend it from there (only 44 days remaining on my current study visa)

I think you've misunderstood. Since you withdrew from your course, your current study permit has most likely been canceled and there's nothing to extend. Recommend you apply for a new study permit form your home country.
