Applying for SIN - Landing Completed in 2015

Hi,

I got my PR and completed my landing in Aug 2015 and traveled back to USA without applying for SIN number.

I was told that I can apply for SIN when I move to Canada. Hope I can apply for SIN when I move next month.

Please confirm.

Once you are back in Canada, please visit any of the Service Canada office.
Take your passport and your PR Card/ Work Permit and they will give you a SIN number there and then.
You wonn't have to pay anything for the service.
