Hi,

When you land in Canada with COPR do you need to fill out some sort of an application to apply for PR card (or is it applied for automatically on entry without any applications) or do you fill out an application only to get SIN?

How can you check that you've applied for PR card in case you missed something at the landing procedure?

Please let me know.

Thank You.

Sometimes, the CBSA interview initiated PR card application shows up on eCAS but this is not always the case.

The PR card was part of your application when you applied for PR. You can try to link the PR Card to your MyCIC/GcKey account to check its status.

Just take your COPR to a service Canada office, they'll issue your SIN there...no application.
