Applying for PR after having a valid travel visa

Hi, I am planning to meet my boyfriend and soon to be husband( who is a PR in Ontario) within next 1.5 months.
So, currently I am applying for Canada tourist visa.
I will be applying for PR in near future ( approx after 2 months ) to move to Canada.
Please suggest if an existing tourist visa is going to impact my PR process.
Also , exactly after how much time can I apply for PR once I receive my travel visa.

Thanks a lot bellaluna.
So , according to the post , I can travel to Canada first as a vistor in next 2 months.
Can my boyfriend after we get married can apply for an outland visa for me immediately?
Will this way will be a faster way for me to get a PR ? Also , can I start looking out for jobs there as soon as I move to Canada?
