applying for post-graudate work permit without student visa??

Hi everyone

I have a question regarding to post-graudate work permit application.

It says that I must have a valid study permit when I apply for the work permit.

However, I currently have no student visa. My visa expired before I graduated.

My student visa lasted until last July. I came back to my home country last summer (June) and

took summer courses. When summer courses ended in August, I became eligible for graduation.

I applied for the graduation last November, and I graduated from U of T in mid-November.


I really wish to acquire post-graduate work permit....

Can anyone please verify this issue?
