Applying for PGWP with a valid H1b visa

I will be receiving my H1b visa soon, in about a month or so. Now, would this have any impact on my PGWP application? As a soon-to-be consultant, it is expected that I travel to client sites in the US, though my base will be in Canada (hence the H1b), but I am concerned that CIC may wonder why I already have a valid work visa in my passport.

Are there others who've had valid H1b when applying for work permit or PR?

One of my friend got his Work Permit while having a valid H1B VISA, IMO, this shouldnt be a concern or problem.
