Hi,
I landed in Canada on 1st december, 2019 with all the documents & study permit. My study was to begin in January 2020 but I had to defer my first semester to May 2020 instead. I did bot study or work till May 2020. Now I am applying for PGWP after finishing my studies in December 2021.
QUESTION: Do I need to attach any letter with my PGWP application to explain this situation or should I just apply normally?
Will there be any problem if i just apply without any explanation? (I have put 1st december 2019, as date of entry and May 2020 as beginning of study).

I did nothing, just stayed at my relatives house. Didn’t study and didn’t work. (It’s december to may so its roughly 5 months).

Actively pursuing your studies is a requirement of the S.P, what caused you to miss first semester?

You’re allowed to defer your admission and it does not affect pgwp application as long as it was granted by the school
