I am a Yemeni citizen as a result of the war in Yemen having to go to Saudi Arabia And now I want to apply for humanitarian asylum in Canada.

You apply for a visitor visa. When you arrive at the airport you claim asylum. You must be in Canada to claim and can’t apply outside the country. To get a visitor visa, you must show funds for travel, ties to country and travel history.

Or you apply as a refugee to the UNHRC. They will decide where you are resettled. Canada may not be an option.

Right because funds aren’t the only issue in getting a visa. He has to show strong ties to home country (family, job, school), travel history, reason to travel etc. If he doesn’t live in his home country there is a strong chance of refusal because officers don’t believe he will return home.

Funds - how long was visit and did this include airfare.
