I have been accepted in MSc Mechanical Engineering program in USask for Winter Term 2014 (Jan. 2014). My background is:
Foundation, BEng Hons and MSc Aeronautical Engineering from UK
3 years experience in aerospace/ mechanical/ manufacturing industry
Currently living in Karachi, Pakistan
I have 5 months from August to apply for the visa and land in Saskatoon. What should be my line of action?
For beginners, I have started depositing money for bank statement but I have apply in Nov as to have 8 weeks before term start. I am confused and have many questions.
Should I mention my MSc degree from UK in my study permit application or would that be a negative?
if you don't mention that degree how will you complete the time gap and question may rise as you are going for masters and have not completed Bachelors.

I guess I can mention the change of field because my previous msc would be specifically related to aircrafts and the msc mechanical in usask will have subjects related to mechanical which I have not done in msc aero. ?!?
Should I go with 3 months statement or should I defer my admission to summer?
In study plan, should I mention phd or would that become a negative? My wife and kids are in Pakistan and I believe that is one of the strongest relations I can show with my country?
I have a letter from university who is offering me a lecturer position with the conditions that I attain masters degree in mechanical engg within 2.5 years of letter issue date. Should I include that letter with my visa app to make my case stronger?
