Hi all, I've hit a bit bump in my current inquiries into PR
I've been working on a working holiday visa which expires in march 2020 as a carpenters apprentice for 1.5 years in Canada with 1 years experience from back home in Australia
1. I recently started a new job with an employer mid July and as i dont have enough points to qualify for PR through I am thinking of going the route of applying for a LMIA through the 'young professionals' IEC (I understand we can only have 1 IEC visa now however I cant find how to directly apply for a LMIA work permit). If they gave me even six months on another visa I could tick the box that states 1 year of employment with my current employer? (if all goes well)
2. I cant see anywhere to upload my job offer on my express entry profile or BCPNP, is this something they request after as it is giving me a '0' score for "valid job offer" even though i have filled out the employer information and have a letter on my computer ready to send.
3. I am registered as an apprentice through ITABC now, they have said that I am able to undertake a course of less than six months, for the part of BC PNP am I able to say that I have studied 1 year of a trade skilled course when i go to challenge my level 1 certificate and sit the exam, assuming I'll pass this could add points to say that ive studied for a year of a trade course here?
