Can I apply to my wife's student dependent visa if I already have an active express entry profile?

What do you mean by active EE profile? have you received an ITA or are expecting one soon?

No, my Express entry profile is in submitted stage and I haven't received any ITA. My CRS is 419 as of now and as Federal Cutoff is too high for me, I was thinking of an alternative to join my spouse as a dependent to her Student Visa, so that I can work full time and can support my family. In that case I am confused whether this idea is valid or not. If it is valid then can I get 50 points additionally to my EE profile if I get a Labour market supported job offer?
