Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. I am currently in the process of applying for the FSWP for myself and immediate family. In the meantime while I gather all the documents, I am directly applying for various jobs in Canada. As of now I am not getting much of a response at all possibly because the companies see me as an outside applicant. But I'm making sure that I mention in every cover letter that "I am in the process of applying for permanent residency through the Federal Skilled Worker Program". I don't know if employers give special consideration for this or not!??
How does one go about applying for jobs when the permanent residency is not yet processed?
