applying for canada pr within canada for a dependant kid outside canada

Hi,
My husband and I are on work permit visa now in canada, planning to apply for canada PR. Can we apply for PR for our kid ( 3 yr ) who is india now, or shud we need her here before submitting the application. Please suggest.

Your child needs to be included in your application as an accompanying dependent, and must also do medical exam. It's ok if child is in another country, while both of you are in Canada.

Your child will get PR approval and COPR at the same time as you.
