applying for both NOC 3012 and NOC 3233: is this possible???

Hi forum mates. Im a licensed nurse in the Philippines. I have 3 yrs of hospital experience as a staff nurse. Thus, my certificate of employment is also staff nurse. I have already sent my application for NOC 3012 last week. Now, i'm thinking of applying for NOC 3233, which is for licensed practical nurses. I have read from cic that a candidate may submit multiple applications to increase their chances. Also, a staff nurse is able to do the responsibilities of a licensed practical nurses.

Would it be possible to apply for both?

Any insights please?

No, you can only submit multiple applications in different categories, i.e. FSW and CEC or PNP, not 2 FSW applications.

What you should have done is, in the Shedule 3 - Economic class form, you should have added the NOC 3233 as a second choice for consideration incase the 3012 cap is reached. I made a mistake of adding an ineligible NOC as a second choice option. I saw the 3233 option after our application was sent.

NOT TRUE. It is perfectly acceptable to submit 2 FSW applications. They must be separate complete applications with separate fee payments.

Hi guys! My husband applied for FSW. He submitted our application last July 5 and CIC Nova Scotia received it July 11, 2014. No confirmation letter and charge yet from the CC. We are hoping that we can here from CIC soon. Let's keep praying and hope for the best! To God be the Glory!
