Hi,

I am going to apply for BC PNP Tech soon but a few things are taking a while to get back from my company. My visa (IEC working holiday visa) is expiring in the middle of July however. I am concerned that if I submit my BC PNP tech application lets say in the first week of April, and it takes up to 3 months, then that won't leave me long at all to get invited to apply for CEC and submit my application before my visa runs out - in fact, i'd say worst case scenario it would be impossible, and it doesn't seem out of the question that this could happen.

Do I have any options to avoid being visa-less around July, incase something goes wrong with my BC PNP tech application, or if it takes too long? Or if for any reason I don't get invited to apply for CEC before my current visa runs out? Are there any work permits or extensions I can apply for easily with a BC PNP Tech application in process?

Thank you.

No easy way. You can apply for another IEC, if eligible or get a LMIA to apply for a closed work permit.
